Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Manager on the Corporate Development team to drive inorganic growth through M&A, strategic investments, and market landscaping.

You will lead deal execution end-to-end and partner with senior leadership to shape Coinbase's product and business strategy. You will conduct market research, develop competitive intelligence, and build relationships with startups, investors, and industry players while helping recruit and develop the team.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, top tier management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proven track record of leading M&A or strategic investment transactions end-to-end.
• Ability to synthesize complex market data into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• BA/BS degree with deep intellectual curiosity for crypto, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
• Uses generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

As a Manager on the Corporate Development team, you'll help shape Coinbase's inorganic growth strategy by leading the execution of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and market landscaping efforts. This team partners directly with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute opportunities that advance Coinbase's mission and business objectives. You'll drive deal execution end-to-end, develop competitive intelligence that informs company and product strategy, and build relationships across the crypto ecosystem to keep Coinbase at the forefront of emerging opportunities.

What you’ll do:

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, top tier management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, or venture capital
• Proven track record of leading M&A or strategic investment transactions end-to-end, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex market data into clear strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
• BA/BS degree with deep intellectual curiosity for crypto, blockchain technology, and digital assets
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$193,970—$228,200 USD
