  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity, ideally with healthcare focus.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, M&A execution, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data collection and analysis for acquisitions with corporate and regional teams.
  • Perform market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend evaluation for strategic growth opportunities.
  • Develop investment theses and key value levers for successful deals.
  • Conduct due diligence including financial, operational, and contractual data.
  • Prepare financial models, valuations, budgets and business cases with scenarios.
  • Draft and review legal documents (LOI, Term Sheet, APA) and manage deal execution timelines.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and business development for seamless integrations and post-merger tracking.

Effective teamwork is critical to success in this role and being a culture carrier of the organization, both in how we operate and as we evaluate opportunities that are a good match with our company.Compensation: $120,000 - 147,000/annually, plus annual bonus potentialKey ResponsibilitiesManage data collection and analysis of new acquisitions by working with corporate and regional teams through the following transaction phases:Acquisition SourcingLead market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend evaluation to identify both strategic and tuck-in acquisitions and other strategic growth opportunities.Developing and cultivating relationships with practice leadership and other influencers in the M&A space, including bankers, brokers and consultants.Analysis of key markets and market segments in relation to LifeStance’s existing business and strategic growth focus, including new markets, CBSAs and into both existing and adjacent specialties.Pre-Term Sheet financial cultural, clinical, and operational analysis and diligenceDevelopment of the investment thesis and key levers that must be evident to ensure value and success.Due DiligenceWork with target to obtain all necessary data and documentation, as applicable, including:Financial and operational dataEMR and practice management system reportsPayor contracts and contracted ratesClinician model and contractsClinician demographics, licensure and credentialing informationEmployee demographics and contractsDevelop financial models, valuation analyses, budgets and business cases to assess potential opportunities, along with scenarios and sensitivity analysis.Preparing, formatting and analyzing data for presentation to key corporate stakeholdersDeal execution:Draft and review all appropriate legal documentation and collaborate with business partners to execute – LOI, Term Sheet, APA, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, etc.Manage deal execution and timing to ensure all key deliverable dates are met and executed in accordance with the planned timelines.Coordinate effectively with target and key business partners to ensure successful deal execution.IntegrationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, operations, and business development teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of acquisitions and other transactions.Assist in post-merger integration and tracking performance metrics of acquired entities.Act as liaison between sites and corporate staff to ensure efficiency of data collectionUsing collections reports and contracted rates to calculate fixed fee payment tables for clinician payrollSupport the credentialing of clinicians on new payor contracts when necessaryTransitioning applicable licenses and contractsMaintain relationships with investment banks, venture capital firms, and key industry players to stay informed on market dynamics and deal flow.Leverage AI tools to improve analysis, info gathering, synthesis and presentationQualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity, ideally with a specialization in healthcareProven experience in financial modeling, M&A execution, and strategic planning.
