Dollar Tree’s Legal Real Estate team seeks an experienced Real Estate Attorney to support the in-house portfolio of 9,000+ retail stores across the U.S. and Canada, with emphasis on lease negotiations and property matters.
You will negotiate lease amendments, advise on acquisitions and dispositions, and support disputes while collaborating with the Lease Administration team to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.
ExperiencedReal Estate Attorneyto join Dollar Tree’s Legal Real Estate team supporting all aspects of Dollar Tree’s real estate. This position will join the team of in-house attorneys supporting Dollar Tree’s continuing growth, with an emphasis on the existing portfolio of 9,000+ retail stores.
JD from accredited law school required.
Member of, or eligible to become a member of the Virginia State Bar
6+ years’ experience as a practicing real estate attorney, including real estate leasing experience (in-house or outside counsel). Retail real estate experience and proficiency in condemnation proceedings and/or title matters a plus.
Experience dealing with high volume transactions and leases.
Computer Skills: Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications, inclusive of Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Exposure to web-based applications including web forms, portals and workflow tools.
Start Rate = $161,000 - $193,500 based on experience plus 25% bonus and equity.
