Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Corporate Counsel - Construction to oversee construction and procurement contracting terms, advise on regulatory matters, negotiate with contractors and utility providers, and support project financing transactions.

The ideal candidate has a U.S. J.D., Bar admission, and 2+ years in corporate transactional or construction-focused practice, with strong negotiation and multitasking skills, and experience managing outside counsel.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
• Two+ years of legal experience in corporate transactional or construction-focused practice.
• Experience handling regulatory, permitting and environmental matters.

Who You Are:As Corporate Counsel - Construction, you are a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise in construction, project development, and energy procurement. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a strategic mindset to complex legal matters. With a strong background in large-scale construction or power projects, you’re adept at navigating and negotiating high-impact contracts.
