Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Counsel to support regulatory and transactional matters for a fast-growing healthcare platform. The role combines product counseling, compliance, and advisory work across technology-enabled services.

You will negotiate deals, advise on regulatory strategies, and help identify or mitigate legal and reputational risks while enabling teams to move quickly and confidently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.

Amazon Pharmacy is on a mission to make it dramatically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the medications they need to get and stay healthy. We are looking for a talented attorney to join our team. This role is a dynamic mix of transactional work, product counseling, compliance and regulatory advising. You will support foundational technology efforts, new business initiatives, and customer-facing products and services. In this role, you will take on diverse responsibilities including negotiating deals, advising on regulatory strategies, looking around corners to identify and mitigate critical legal and reputational risks, and developing mechanisms that allow our builder teams to move quickly and confidently.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior business leaders on a broad range of legal and business matters.

A day in the life

You will collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, technology, compliance, risk and healthcare teams, diving into complex legal challenges that demand creative problem-solving. Expect to engage in strategic discussions about new product launches, analyze emerging regulatory developments, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and develop innovative compliance frameworks that enable our teams to move quickly and confidently. You will balance multiple workstreams, from advising on AI-enabled workflows to reviewing a vendor agreement to counseling on state-specific regulatory requirements, all in service of our mission to make healthcare dramatically easier for customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
• Experience in Regulatory Law
• Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
• Experience advising clients in the healthcare industry, or another highly regulated field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
