Rheem North America in Atlanta seeks a Corporate Counsel to review, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts across procurement, sales, and other commercial needs, including IT, equipment, and logistics. This role provides legal guidance to internal teams and ensures compliance with company standards and applicable law.
The position partners with senior counsel and supports cross-functional business units; office in hybrid arrangement with in-office days Monday-Thursday and remote on Fridays.
The Corporate Counselis responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts across a wide range of commercial categories, including indirect services such as technology and IT agreements, equipment and tooling, aviation, and logistics, as well as sales-related agreements, distribution arrangements, and other commercial contracts supporting both the buy-side and sell-side of the business. The contracts may involve the purchase of products and services such as supplies, software, SaaS, materials, equipment, and other items. This role will handle work for the procurement teams, the sales teams, and other commercial contracting needs across the business.
The Corporate Counsel is a member of the Law Department who supports the business by providing legal guidance on commercial transactions and contract negotiations. This role serves as a key point of contact between internal business teams and senior legal counsel, ensuring contracts are negotiated, drafted, and executed in accordance with company standards and applicable law.
This position will serve Rheem North America, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
