POSITION OVERVIEW

A small publicly traded company in Nashville undergoing an exciting transformation. You'll report directly to a supportive VP of Accounting & Finance who believes in coaching and empowering the team. This established public company is ready to elevate its accounting practices. There are numerous opportunities for improvement, and you will quickly make a noticeable impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assess the current state people, processes, systems and build a roadmap to support growth
  2. Streamline and improve month-end close process
  3. Spearhead the integration of a new ERP system
  4. Strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance
  5. Assess and improve accounting processes: Conduct a thorough review of existing processes and recommend and implement best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s in related field - Accounting, Finance, HR
  2. 8+ years of experience across the Accounting organization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  3. ERP implementation expertise
  4. Experience evaluating a department or function and developing a strategy to improve it.
