Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers in California seeks a Corporate Controller to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, accurate monthly closes, strong internal controls, and audit readiness across multiple entities. This role partners with operational finance leadership to support financial performance and integrity of accounting records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• CPA designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and elimination entries across all entities.
• Ensure reported financial results comply with GAAP.
• Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and tax return preparation.
• Oversee lender, surety, and bonding reporting requirements.
• Oversee compliance with debt agreements, lender covenants, and other external reporting obligations.
• Oversee consolidations, intercompany transactions, and corporate accounting activities.
