Arctiq, a fast-growing technology services company in the United States, is seeking a Corporate Controller to own the accounting operations, close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls. This leadership role will shape the future of the finance function in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA/CMA preferred, and a proven track record leading teams, driving improvements and partnering with executive leadership on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Experience with GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Big 4 or equivalent corporate accounting background preferred.
• Experience with IT services/tech/SaaS or similar industries is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Lead accounting policy matters and coordinate external audits.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable controls across the function.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis with FP&A and executives.
• Develop and mentor accounting team members.

Position Overview

The Corporate Controller will own the company's accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, process improvements, and integration activities. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to take ownership of the accounting function and play a key role in shaping its future within the Finance organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Lead technical accounting matters and serve as the primary point of contact for audit coordination
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives
• Lead acquisition integration and accounting process alignment initiatives
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability within the accounting function
• Own internal controls and compliance activities, including risk assessment and remediation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects, partnering with FP&A and executive leadership
• Manage and develop accounting team members, providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior people-management experience
• Prior Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Combination of public accounting and corporate industry experience preferred
• Experience within IT services, technology, SaaS, consulting, or managed services industries is considered a strong asset
• NetSuite experience is a plus
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to operate independently and make sound judgment calls with minimal oversight
