Forged Fiber is about more than building a network—it's about people. Every role matters. Every contribution counts. Together, employees create impact through teamwork, trust, and a shared commitment to excellence.

The Role

We are seeking a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Manager to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Forged Fiber’s corporate compliance and ethics program. This role reports to the Head of Legal and Compliance.

The Corporate Compliance and Ethics Manager is responsible for developing, operationalizing, and maturing an ethics and compliance program across a multi-state footprint.

In a lean legal department, this role also provides broad-based support on related legal and operational matters as needs arise. This is a highly visible role for a senior compliance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, high-growth environment, works autonomously, and serves as a key operational partner to the legal team and the company’s senior leaders.

What You'll Do

As Corporate Compliance and Ethics Manager, you will lead and manage key components of Forged Fiber’s compliance and ethics program, including but not limited to:

  • Compliance Program Development and Management: Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the company’s compliance program, including policy development and maintenance, compliance monitoring, audit coordination, and periodic reporting to senior leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Ethics Program Administration: Manage the company's ethics program, including the code of business conduct, supporting compliance policies, reporting mechanisms, and ethics hotline administration. Helps to conduct or support investigations related to ethics complaints and compliance concerns.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs across the organization, track training completion, and maintain records to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Third-Party Compliance: Conduct third-party compliance diligence and support investigations as needed.
  • General Compliance and Legal Support: As part of a small, collaborative legal team, this role may provide broad‑based support on related legal and operational matters, including assisting with document review and due diligence, compliance‑related contract provisions, and coordination with outside counsel. Flexibility to support multiple areas is essential.

You are an enthusiastic, proactive, detail‑oriented compliance professional with a proven ability to build, manage, and mature corporate compliance programs in a complex, multi‑state environment. You take pride in creating practical, efficient, and effective compliance infrastructure. You are a trusted problem solver who understands how to balance compliance requirements with operational realities and earn credibility across functions. You are comfortable managing complex workflows, anticipating operational needs, and delivering high‑quality work products with minimal supervision. You work autonomously while collaborating closely with senior leaders on strategic priorities. You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; compliance certifications such as CCEP, CHC, or equivalent are preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory compliance, or a related field, with demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing compliance programs
  • Experience developing and maintaining compliance policies, training programs, and monitoring and auditing frameworks
  • Knowledge of ethics program administration, including hotline management, investigations support, and relevant compliance policies
  • Experience supporting a multi‑state operational footprint, particularly in infrastructure or telecommunications environments, is preferred
  • Familiarity with FCC regulations, state public utility commission requirements, OSHA requirements, and/or environmental compliance in field operations environments is a plus
