Job summary

The Dow Jones Corporate Communications team is offering a Summer 2027 Communications Internship in New York City. This 10-week in-office program provides hands-on experience across press releases, executive communications, and social media, with mentoring and professional development.

You'll work full-time during the internship period (June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027) in a hybrid NYC office, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to gain exposure to the fast-paced media

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (at least two years completed) in communications/PR/marketing or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience creating engaging social media content and staying updated on digital trends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
• Positive attitude, eager to learn, proactive.

Responsibilities

• Content creation for press releases, executive communications, social media, and intranet.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage; summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and execution of corporate events; prepare materials and coordinate logistics.
• Track earned media, speaking engagements, and broadcast appearances; create coverage reports.
• Manage corporate social media accounts: content creation, scheduling, engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment.
