This role offers the opportunity to deepen your commercial banking expertise while building meaningful client partnerships and advancing your career.**Key Accountabilities*** **Manage** a portfolio of commercial banking relationships while ensuring compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards.* **Analyze** financial statements and credit requests to evaluate risk, recommend loan structures, and support sound lending decisions.* **Partner** with Relationship Managers to strengthen client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and support portfolio growth.* **Monitor** portfolio performance, loan repayment activity, and client financial health to proactively manage credit quality.* **Identify** opportunities to expand client relationships through referrals for treasury management, private banking, capital markets, and other banking solutions.* **Coordinate** loan renewals, due diligence, and credit documentation by working closely with clients, credit teams, and internal business partners.* **Support** new business development through financial analysis, opportunity assessments, and participation in the loan approval process.* **Represent** Associated Bank by participating in community and business organizations to build relationships and strengthen the bank's presence in the market.**Education & Experience****Required*** Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* 5+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Banking, Specialized Banking, or Credit Approval.* 5+ years of experience underwriting and managing complex commercial credit relationships.* Valid driver's license (where applicable) and reliable transportation.**Preferred*** 2+ years of sales or business development experience.* 2+ years of formal commercial credit training.* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.**Why You'll Love Working Here**At Associated Bank, you'll work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that values relationship building, continuous learning, and professional growth.
