Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Detroit, MI is seeking a Corporate Banking Analyst to support multinational clients with financial modeling, credit analysis and due diligence. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of corporate banking experience.
• SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input on product suitability and capital markets solutions for clients.
• Mentor and guide Analyst I team members, providing feedback and support as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking.
• Demonstrated academic or professional exposure to financial analysis and corporate finance concepts.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Client Communication: Skilled in preparing and delivering compelling pitch materials and market updates tailored to client needs and business objectives.
• Technology Proficiency: Advanced familiarity with third-party financial platforms and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) used in investment banking or corporate finance environments.
