Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the day‑to‑day accounting operations for the corporate function in a 100% in‑office role in Dallas, TX. You will supervise a small team, manage the monthly close, and ensure accurate financial reporting across cost centers and allocations.

The ideal candidate has a 4‑year degree in accounting or finance, 5–7 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Yardi or NetSuite, plus advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting.
• GAAP knowledge and corporate accounting principles are essential.
• Experience supervising accounting staff is required.
• Proficiency with Yardi, NetSuite or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizing skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day corporate accounting operations, including monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of accountants and associates (1–3 direct reports).
• Review and approve journal entries and schedules for cost centers and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare or review monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
• Oversee corporate accounts payable processes, including coding, approvals, and payments.
• Assist in consolidated financial reporting and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with payroll, HR, and other departments for accurate expense allocations.
• Support lender compliance reporting, audits, and tax activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
