Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license and/or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 3–4 years of experience in public accounting or related corporate accounting.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/consolidation tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly global financial consolidation and structured reporting.
  • Execute intercompany reconciliations and cross-entity analyses.
  • Record consolidation and derivative entries; manage documentation and review.
  • Track and analyze consolidated equity roll-forward.
  • Maintain monthly reporting calendars; prepare quarterly and annual filings.
  • Coordinate quarterly accounting calls with Treasury, Tax, FP&A and business units.
  • Support audits with internal and external auditors.
  • Assist in preparing external GAAP financial statements.

Job Purpose & Scope

This position plays a vital role in the monthly global consolidation process, ensuring reporting precision and ongoing compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) control standards. The role reports directly to the Global Consolidation Manager.


Core Responsibilities


  • Global Consolidation: Perform monthly global financial consolidation and structured reporting procedures.

  • Reconciliations: Execute intercompany validation procedures, comprehensive account analyses, and cross‑entity dispute resolutions.

  • Entries & Analytics: Record monthly consolidation and derivative entries while managing tracking, documentation, and review facilitation.

  • Equity Tracking: Manage and analyze the consolidated equity roll‑forward process.

  • Reporting Deadlines: Maintain monthly reporting calendars, adapt to new reporting requirements, and complete quarterly and annual statutory government filings.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate global quarterly accounting and reporting calls across diverse teams including Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and localized business units to minimize risk.

  • Internal & External Audit: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

  • Financial Statements: Support the timely preparation of quarterly and annual external financial reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP.


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting is required.

  • Credentials: CPA license and/or an MBA is strongly preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of experience stemming from public accounting or a balanced mix of public accounting and private industry corporate accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency is required. Familiarity with global enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms and corporate consolidation applications (such as SAP, JDE, Hyperion, or Workiva) is highly beneficial.

  • Professional Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management capabilities, coupled with an intellectual curiosity and a proactive sense of accountability in a fast‑paced environment.
