Overview

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, revenue/cost/expense recognition, and reconciliation


• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.


• Foreign Entity month end close and reporting


• Responsible for bank and product inventory reconciliations


• Assist with audits, budgets and periodic forecasts


• Work with various departments to ensure monthly financial statements are accurate and timely


• Analyzing data to support business decision-making


• Data gathering and preparation for management use and review


• Ad hoc financial reporting and other functions required by manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA or CMA certification will be a plus


• 3-5+ years of solid experience in accounting. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practice. Manufacturing knowledge helpful


• Strong analytical skill set with keen eye for detail and ability to multitask


• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment


• Good organizational and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with senior management and various departments. A solid team player


• Strong Excel skills required, ability to analyze large amounts of data, including use of Excel tools like Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs and advanced formulas and functions. Macros knowledge a plus
