Venteon is actively seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Troy, Michigan as a Corporate Intercompany Accountant. The role focuses on intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes within a multi-entity manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 5+ years of relevant experience, and CPA or public accounting background is preferred. Hybrid work arrangements and strong growth opportunities await.

• Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Intercompany Transactions and Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations as part of monthly and year end close.
• Support Month End and Year End Close Processes.
• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate Audit and Compliance efforts with schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to ERP implementation related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation.
• Develop and maintain standard procedures for intercompany accounting activities.
• Support public company readiness with scalable intercompany processes and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement in accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.

Requirements of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant

Responsibilities of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant

• Manage Intercompany Transactions and Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations – Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process.
• Support Month End and Year End Close Processes
• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance – Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts – Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to ERP Implementation – Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.
• Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures – Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Support Public Company Readiness – Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.
