• Quantitative or computational skills are desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Characterize fungal population structure across corn growth stages.
• Apply sequencing approaches (ITS/TEF, qPCR, metagenomics) to track fungal communities.
• Quantify mycotoxins and link ecology to toxin outcomes.
