Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS is hiring for an Assembly I position. The role supports a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment with exposure to MES, BIQ, and Epix systems.

The pay starts at $17.05 per hour with a 5am–3pm (Mon–Thu) schedule and potential overtime. Benefit offerings include 401k matching, health/dental/vision/life insurance from day 1, paid time off, and a climate-controlled workplace.

Responsibilities

• Move parts with hoists/overhead cranes when needed and follow schedules.
• Adhere to Built in Safety guidelines and cross-train in Salary Grade 1 roles.

Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for an Assembly I position located in the Corinth, MS facility

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes.


• Knowledge and adherence to contamination control guidelines,


• Will require print reading skills and quality checks, as defined by standard work.


• Will use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary.


• hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary.


• Will be required to follow production schedules


• Will be required to utilize various computer systems including MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix to reference work instructions, prints and perform data entry


• May require utilizing overhead cranes/hoists, and/or electric pallet jack to move parts in and out of area.


• All operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.


• Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.


• Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility.


• Candidate will work in an environment without close supervision.


• Cross training in other positions within Salary Grade 1 may be required based upon basic qualifications and physical requirements being met. Those position could include: Cleaning 1, Disassembly 1 and Logistics 1

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)


• Required to read/write and interpret documents.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Prior use of hoists.


• Knowledge of engines and components.


• Experience with assembly /disassembly tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc)

Physical Requirements:

• Job may be physically demanding at times and must be able to handle high volume fast paced operation.


• May walk, squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutes


• Must be able to wear proper PPE.


• May be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shift.


• Must be able to stand for up to 10+ hours per shift.

Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits Offered!

Starting hourly pay rate of $17.05 (pay negotiations based on skills/experience)

Work Hours: 5am-3pm (Mon-Thurs)

40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime

80 hours of vacation with an additional 3 days (hours dependent on work schedule) of Paid Time Off

(PTO) (all prorated based on hire date)

10 Paid holidays

Climate controlled work environment – most areas

100% 401k match up to 6% offered on day 1 of employment

Summary Pay Range:

$17.05 - $22.15
