Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a Core Clerk to manage the core inventory lifecycle in our warehouse. You will verify daily that all credited dirty cores are accounted for, inspect cores for damage, and coordinate with the Parts Counter, Inventory Controller, or Parts Manager when issues arise.

This role requires organizing used cores for return, packing and shipping dirty core returns, and adhering to supplier acceptance policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the incoming and outgoing core inventory.
• Verify daily that all credited dirty cores are accounted for.
• Inspect dirty cores for damage or non-returnable conditions.
• Communicate with Parts Counter, Inventory Controller, or Parts Manager when cores are missing or do not meet criteria.
• Organize and control all used cores while holding for return to suppliers.
• Prepare, pack and ship dirty core returns per supplier policies.
• Pull parts orders when workload demands.
