Job summary

The Delaware Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, is seeking an Environmental Program Administrator who will implement Delaware's CORE Forestry programs. This position manages budgets, oversees program allocations, and represents Delaware at meetings.

Qualified applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in environmental program administration, data analysis, and operations management.

Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Three years of experience in environmental/natural resources program administration.
• Three years of experience in analyzing and evaluating data.
• Three years of experience in interpreting environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
• Six months of experience in operations management.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees program implementation.
• Provides technical direction and oversight for subordinates.
• Recommends laws, rules, and regulations.
• Drafts grant applications and budget proposals.
• Manages staff personnel matters.
