Zero Hash is seeking a senior backend engineer (Python‑first) to serve as the engineering backbone for Applied AI projects. You will design and implement the access layer, signed records, and tamper‑evident logging, while ensuring least-privilege data handling and robust deployment pipelines.

The role supports a security‑first posture in a regulated environment and requires experience with LLM agents and capability‑based authorization.

Formación

• Senior, Python-first backend engineering with production experience in event-driven systems, API integration, and CI/CD.
• Agent-system experience — composing LLM agents into standing systems with deterministic control.
• Security-first habits in regulated environments (MSB/VASP, bank, or comparable).
• Working familiarity with capability-based authorization: attenuable tokens, workload identity, policy-as-code.

Responsabilidades

• Own the access layer (native connectors, MCP servers, Databricks US/EU) using short-lived tokens and least-privilege access.
• Define a versioned schema for credentials and action records and ensure cross-checks between them.
• Establish build discipline: deployment pipelines, policy-as-code, signed builds with SBOMs.
• Build the authority lease service with integrated kill switches.
• Capture events into append-only, hash-chained logs for tamper-evident auditing.
• Migrate agents onto the Core and lead security reviews for ongoing read access.
• Extend Core from read to bounded write with idempotency keys and multi-approver time-locks for money moves.
