Life Line Stem Cell Inc. is seeking a Medical Donor Advocate to help acquire post-birth tissues for transplant and research.

The role involves coordinating the transport of cord tissue and related materials with proper documentation while representing the organization professionally to physicians, hospital staff, and families. Qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent; prior medical/technical work-study and sterile technique experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Acquire after-birth tissues for transplant and research.
• Ensure timely transport of donated Cord, Cord Blood, Amniotic Fluid, and Placenta to the partner facility for transplant or research utilization along with complete and correct corresponding documents.
• Act as a professional representative of Life Line Stem Cell (LLSC) when interacting with physicians, hospital staff, and families.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Interview expectant mothers and complete consent and maternal medical social history forms, plus routine reports and correspondence.
• Lift up to 15 pounds independently (or with assistance for heavier loads).
• Perform duties in compliance with SOPs and regulations (AATB, FR, and other applicable laws).
• Ability to perform duties under regulatory requirements.
