We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team in Washington catering specifically to the Indian expat community.

As a Copywriter for Indian expats you will be responsible for creating compelling and culturally‑relevant content for various mediums such as websites, social media, email marketing and more. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop strategies and campaigns that resonate with the Indian expat audience in Washington.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the target audience to understand their preferences and behaviors.
• Create engaging and persuasive copy that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with Indian expats in Washington.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and other team members to develop content ideas and campaigns.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Monitor industry trends and competitors' content to stay updated on best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with cultural events and news related to India that may impact our target audience.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is preferred but not required as long as you have strong writing skills in Hindi or any other Indian language.
• Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role, preferably in the marketing and advertising industry.
• A portfolio of relevant work showcasing your writing skills is required for consideration.
• Excellent research skills to understand the target audience's preferences and behaviors.
• Attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary: $1400 per month, negotiable based on experience.
