Our client seeks a Copywriter to shape and steward the talent brand voice across omnichannel campaigns. The role will craft clear, human-first messaging that supports employer brand objectives, partners closely with art directors and strategists, and delivers integrated work across paid media, social, experiential, and digital touchpoints. The engagement runs through September 23, 2027, with potential extension or conversion. Candidates local to McLean or Richmond may be preferred for collaboration and potential conversion.

Rate: $30.00 to $40.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Craft concise, audience-centered copy for print and digital channels, from headlines to clear, user-friendly language.
- Translate complex or legal language into accessible messaging.
- Ideate big concepts and execute detail-focused deliverables across the marketing funnel.
- Collaborate with art directors, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists, and internal partners.
- Develop messaging that cuts through noise and aligns with brand strategy and standards.
- Apply consumer insights and strategy to inform creative decisions and integrated campaigns.
- Tell cohesive stories across omnichannel journeys, including paid media, social, and experiential.
- Support recruiter and event experiences with experiential copy and toolkits.
- Present work clearly to gain alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while delivering error-free work.
- Determine when to leverage existing solutions versus starting net-new.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years of copywriting or creative writing experience.
- Proven skill in talent brand or human-first storytelling for employer audiences.
- Depth in marketing messaging across paid media, social, brand building, and experiential channels.
- Ability to connect individual deliverables to broader customer and candidate journeys.
- Comfort partnering with art directors and cross-functional specialists.
- Strong rationale skills to explain copy decisions to managers and partners.
- Grounding copy in benefits, motivators, and audience barriers.
- Judgment to modulate tone from direct to playful based on channel and context.
- Openness to feedback and growth with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with AI tools, including Gemini, preferred.
- Experience in Talent Marketing, B2B, Experiential, Performance, or Direct Response preferred.
- Experience in financial services preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
