Mattel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join its product editorial team. You will craft ecommerce copy, product names, callouts and body copy for licensed and in-house brands, while researching SEO terms to optimize display pages.
This role requires 1–3 years writing experience, strong proofreading, and the ability to manage multiple projects. You will collaborate with marketing, design, and legal to ensure brand alignment and regulatory compliance across touchpoints.

The team focuses on delivering exciting innovative communication for a wide range of brands and projects including Hot Wheels,, Matchbox, Thomas & Friends, Pixar Cars, as well as licensed entertainment brands. The group is focused on overseeing all aspects of product communication by understanding the consumer as well as current trends and technology to deliver successful product related communication. This involves project management responsibilities as well as writing for multiple platforms including, but not limited to packaging, product names, ecommerce, collateral materials. The ideal candidate will possess creative writing experience showing the ability to work on challenging and fun projects as well as the ability to project manage, perform administrative tasks, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
