Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom is seeking a Copywriter to join the Creative Services & Brand Team in crafting compelling fundraising and advocacy content across digital and print channels. You will report to the Managing Editor and help shape content that motivates audiences to engage and contribute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in internet marketing and/or copywriting for web.
• Strong fundraising, marketing, creative, and persuasive writing skills.
• Skilled in taking complex information and boiling it down to powerful, engaging content that motivates people to act.
• Understanding of writing principles and techniques for fundraising and marketing writing (including strong headlines, the use of hyperlinks, multimedia, calls to action, and other digital and search engine optimization (SEO) elements).
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively, problem solve, take initiative, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Team Overview As a Copywriter at ADF, you are a vital part of the Creative Services & Brand Team. In this role, you will report to the Managing Editor and are responsible for writing and shaping content to meet ADF’s fundraising and advocacy objectives.
