Job summary

M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safety, and punctual deliveries while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

The driver will operate company-owned vehicles, perform inspections, and maintain records of hours and deliveries. Flexible hours, including some nights and weekends, are required where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of one year of delivery driver experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
• Ensure loads are secured and maintain product integrity.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
• Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
• Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays
• 4:00AM to 1:00PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling sensitive cargo is a plus.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $18 per hour but can vary based based on experience.
