Qualifications

• Current and valid New York State (NYS) Respiratory Care License.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or tracking to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive education to patients and caregivers.
• Act as a liaison between physicians and discharge planners.
• Conduct follow-up care via telephone post-discharge.
• Perform respiratory therapy for inpatients and outpatients.
• Partner with the healthcare team to champion organizational standards.
