The Cleveland Board of Education adopted the Building Brighter Futures (BBF) initiative on December 9, 2025. Building Brighter Futures is a strategic and data-driven plan shaped by more than a year of community engagement, information analysis, and thoughtful deliberation. The goal of this plan is to strengthen enrollment and ensure scholars attend a newer school building that offers more educational opportunities, including algebra in the eighth grade, more sports and extracurricular activities, and college credits and college and career pathways in high school. CMSD seeks a full-time Talent Staffing Coordinator who will be work as part of a team and provide high quality support for strategic human capital reform activities and Talent Department functions and transactional services that span all phases of the employment life cycle (recruitment, selection, hiring, performance, succession, development and transition). The Talent Staffing Coordinator provides exceptional customer service and serves as a liaison to other departments and staff as well as communicates with staff and customers at various levels. The Talent Staffing Coordinator will support the central office and school-based talent acquisition/management teams to achieve an array of administrative and Talent Department actions which will lead to better outcomes for our schools and scholars.
Two years of Human Resources-related experience preferred in a high volume staffing office Must be able to multi-task and quickly analyze issues, shift priorities, and cope with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Must be able to interact positively with all levels of staff and a broad base of customers Competencies: The requirements and competencies listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have successfully completed classes or course work resulting in proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) report generating software and other human resource technologies and be skilled in using the Internet for work-related research; or a combination of equivalent years of experience, education and skills that would meet the position requirements. Preferred Requirements: Bachelor Degree preferred in Human Resources or related area. Two years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume office or related customer service positions. Human Resources Certification.
