Pay range for this position is $42.04 - $60.32/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator Surgical Education functions as an analyst, developer, instructor, and evaluator, in a broad range of activities that lead to development and implementation of programs, instruction, and practice with emphasis on performance problems, clinical competencies, and professional development. Assists in overseeing and directing work of clinical educator personnel. In doing so, establishes work priorities, organizes and assigns work to clinical educators and evaluates the performance of assigned employees. May perform duties of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Experience: 5 years in Surgical services
• Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Master’s degree in nursing
