A leading integrated store interior provider is seeking a Project/Order Coordinator for their Jasper, GA location. The successful candidate will manage customer orders, ensure effective communication, and require strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. This is an on-site position during the 1st shift, providing opportunities for team collaboration and customer support.

  • Create and maintain project folders for managing orders.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure customer dates are met.

Overview

Position: Project/Order Coordinator (on-site, 1st shift). This is a non-remote position located on-site in Jasper, GA.

Position Summary / Major Areas Of Contribution

Functions as the primary contact for order placement and serves as the pivot point of knowledge and information for fulfillment of orders. The individual must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, highly detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team to resolve problems.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities
  • Identify customer account numbers, parts numbers, and pricing to complete entry
  • Reconcile any purchase order differences with the customer
  • Enter orders into Royston order system
  • Process credit card payments for prepayment orders
  • Create manufacturing process notices for priority shipments or corrective action orders
  • Create and maintain order folders for storing customer communication for non-project orders
  • Maintain project folders for storing customer communication and complete project tracker
  • Coordinate with other departments to execute duties for completion of orders
  • Complete entry and confirm details to the customer
  • Navigate and utilize customer portals for purchase order retrieval, approval, and status updates
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure customer dates are met
  • Track shipments upon customer request
  • Investigate delayed or missing shipments and create orders for defective or missing items
  • Analyze Royston installation reports for project completion
  • Coordinate Return Goods Authorizations
  • Assist customer and Accounting with invoicing issues by providing required order documents to determine discrepancies
  • Create required credit requests for frontend discrepancy issues
  • Work with Logistics for freight quotes
  • Perform miscellaneous customer support tasks
  • Maintain Customer Data Profile Sheets
  • Maintain customer price lists with established pricing
