Job description

Part time Position available St. Luke Catholic Church, Glenside

St. Luke the Evangelist Church, Glenside is in search of a part time Coordinator of Religious Education (15 – 18 hours). Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1 – Monday evening PREP classes (6:00 – 8:00) – registration of students, recruitment of catechists, class organization and assignment.

2 – Sacramental Organization and Coordination – First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation in Spring semester.

3 – Sunday morning Children’s Liturgy of the Word during 9:30 Mass September thru May

4 – Regularly scheduled Staff meetings

Candidates should be flexible with family and children needs and situations. Strong commitment to the Catholic faith and understanding of children catechesis expected.
