Neighbor To Family, Inc. is seeking a Coordinator of Recruitment, Licensing and Training to lead recruitment of foster families and conduct licensing studies.
You will design and coordinate pre-service and ongoing training for staff and foster caregivers, ensuring compliance with licensing rules and procedures. This role reports to the Executive Director and requires collaboration with case managers and state agencies.

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, performs administrative duties in planning and implementing a program of recruitment of foster families; conducting licensing studies of prospective and licensed foster family homes; and designing, arranging and coordinating programs of pre-service and ongoing training for staff and foster caregivers. Plans, coordinates, and directs personnel training and staff development programs for foster care givers by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree in social work or related human services field. Experience in substitute care, foster parent recruitment and training. Three years of administrative experience, preferably in child welfare services.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have use of an automobile, appropriate insurance and a valid driver license for state employed. Must be SAFE Certified. NTDC certification preferred. IMPACT training required.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CULTURAL COMPETENCY: Ability to relate, understand, accept and interact in a culturally sensitive manner
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, and the general public.
