Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Coordinator of Recreation & Athletic Facilities will help develop a comprehensive campus recreation program including club sports, intramurals, and campus wellness programs. The Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for all functions of the University's new 112,000 sq/ft Fieldhouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for athletic facility and operational needs, including event management, coordination, scheduling, and staffing.
- Collaborate with Krammes Facilities Management to prioritize responsibilities and schedules, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Develop revenue generation strategies for the Fieldhouse, including rental contracts and outside rentals.
- Work with Campus Recreation GA, the Office of Admissions, and Student Affairs to develop Club Sports Programs to support recruitment and retention.
- Evaluate and improve current intramural and group fitness programs.
- Collect data to support new programming aimed at engaging students year-round.
- Develop policies and procedures for the safe and welcoming opening of the Fieldhouse.
- Create and manage a new athletic and recreational camp system to standardize operations and maximize revenue.
- Represent the University as event manager for all Fieldhouse events, including setup and teardown.
- Assist in selecting, training, supervising, and developing student staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Attributes and Qualifications:
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field.
- At least two years of experience in recreation programs, including operations, personnel supervision, or student development.

- Ability to remain composed under stress and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Tools and Equipment:

Physical Demands:
Frequent use of hands and arms, mobility, communication, and hearing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally. Outdoor environmental conditions may be encountered.
Work Environment:
Primarily office and educational facilities, including indoor and outdoor sports venues, with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud.
