Develops innovative informal science and nature programs, materials and interpretative components for visiting children and their families for drop‑in programs and special events in the Everett Children's Adventure Garden or at Garden-wide events. Develops, coordinates and teaches registered caregiver/child nature exploration program. Collaborates with Explainer Coordinator to train and mentor adult and teen staff and volunteers on best practices in program facilitation.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to, at minimum, stand; walk; sit; use hands, climb ladders, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work outdoors under a variety of weather conditions.
Baseline Work Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday, 9:30am-5:30pm
Salary: $64,000
