Job summary

3 Day Blinds, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support the Merchandising team as a product expert and to maintain accurate product information across departments. You will collaborate with Marketing, Training, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure data consistency and drive initiatives.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SmartSheet, along with leveraging AI tools to streamline processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SmartSheet; able to create spreadsheets, manage versions and use basic formulas.

Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert to support all departments with product-related questions.
  • Partner with Marketing and Training teams to ensure product information across the website, training materials, and other customer-facing tools remain current, accurate, and consistent.
  • Maintain and update merchandising documentation used throughout the organization, ensuring it serves as the primary source of accurate product information and is communicated to all relevant departments.
  • Gather and maintain accurate competitive research on pricing and product offerings from competitors; analyze findings and present to the team.
  • Produce and disseminate the department's monthly sales dashboard, delivering key performance insights to the team.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings to coordinate initiatives, communicate updates, and drive alignment across departments.
  • Participate in daily Oversold meetings, manage related communications, and validate ePIC messaging
  • Communicate directly with suppliers regarding product information and ongoing merchandising initiatives
  • Coordinate and place product orders for beta testing, line reviews, display materials, and other merchandising needs.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and communication through the effective use of technology and AI-enabled tools.
  • Provide support across the Merchandising department and assist other business functions as needed based on business priorities and individual expertise.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.

Position Overview

The Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Merchandising team by serving as a product expert, maintaining critical product information, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and providing analytical and administrative support. This position partners closely with Marketing, Training, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure product information is accurate, up to date, and effectively communicated across the organization. What you'll do

Who you are
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
