The Coordinator Laboratory Assistant at HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver coordinates the Lab Assistant team within the Microbiology department, schedules training, and ensures specimens are processed per procedure. Collaboration with technical coordinators and leadership helps maintain smooth operations and timely lab requests.

Responsibilities may include responding to requests, solving problems, and occasionally collecting blood.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Coordinator Laboratory Assistant schedules, trains and coordinates the efforts of the Lab Assistant staff within the COE (Centers of Excellence, Microbiology department). The Coordinator Laboratory Assistant works in conjunction with the technical coordinators and leadership team to effectively ensure all patient specimens are processed according to procedure. The incumbent also responds to lab requests; problem solves and communicates issues to management. This individual may also perform blood collection if needed.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: 2 years experience preferred
