Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator III to support onboarding, policy administration, and employee relations across the organization. The role emphasizes collaboration with HR leadership, maintaining records, and ensuring program accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a High School degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel is possible as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new employees.
  • Provide HR policy information and program support.

  • Review employee relations concerns and provide guidance to HR leadership.
  • Support administration of performance management and training programs.
  • Assist with recruiting, sourcing, and candidate screening for hourly roles.
  • Maintain personnel and job files in compliance with retention policies.

Shift

Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day)

The Coordinator III position is responsible for handling advanced projects, programs or administrative support

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work in collaboration on implementing plans, systems and processes for programs and departments
  • Preparing documents, maintaining records, and ensure quality assurance and accuracy
  • Serving as a point of contact and communicating with internal and external stakeholder
  • Using judgment and critical thinking to solve problems and make decisions
Specific Responsibilities
  • Schedules, prepares, and facilitates the logistics for new employee orientation and onboarding
  • Provides administration and assistance in all HR areas regarding policies, procedures and programs
  • Assist with resolving employees' HR-related questions and issues
  • Advise HR leadership of potential HR-related issues and recommend and implement solutions as appropriate
  • Answer basic functional questions and refer more complex HR matters to appropriate resources
  • Assist with reviewing employee relations concerns and providing information and recommendations to HR leadership
  • Assist the HR team and management with strengthening and enhancing the company's HR programs, policies, and processes
  • Administer aspects of new employee orientations and training
  • Administer hourly recruiting, sourcing, and screening
  • Maintain job files and ensure proper disposition of all applicants
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with record retention policy
  • Administer the performance management program according to design reviews
  • Prepare and respond to unemployment claims
  • Enhance, conduct, and/or assist with the administration of the company's internal training programs to align with long term HR goals and objectives
  • Prepare HR reports pursuant to government and management requirements
  • Prepare and distribute required federal, state and local HR-related notices.
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Specific Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Prior work experience in human resources essential including a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and complex information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to interact effectively with employees and leadership
  • Travel: As needed
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret information.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.
  • Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift/carry items less than 30 pounds.
Working Conditions

Work can be performed in both a general warehouse environment on a concrete surface with adequate lighting or office environment with standard office equipment available. Temperatures can be very hot during the summer months and very cold during the winter months. Workspace can be very dusty and occasionally noisy due to traffic of motorized vehicles operating. General office environment that is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
