Job summary

US Club Soccer is seeking a Coordinator, Education & Development to admin‑strate coach education programs and related initiatives. The role supports course logistics, budget management, and customer service for registration, payments, and refunds.

Based in the Charleston metro area or remote, this full‑time salaried position requires collaboration across departments and occasional evening/weekend work. The candidate should be proactive, organized, and service‑m oriented.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zendesk or similar software.
  • Clear communication and ability to provide virtual service with screensharing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support for coach education courses (Grassroots & D Licenses).
  • Build and reconcile budgets for courses.
  • Provide customer support for course registration, logistics, payments, and refunds.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to execute courses.
  • Assist VP and Director of Coaching Education with strategic planning and yearly goals.
  • Assist in League relations and development of programming.
  • Ensure compliance with US Club Soccer policies and safeguarding initiatives.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Location: US Club Soccer HQ (Charleston metro, South Carolina) or Remote

Anchored by Players First and its five pillars of Club Development, Coaching Development, Player Development, Parent Engagement & Education and Player Health & Safety, US Club Soccer offers registration, league- and cup-based competition platforms, player identification and a variety of other programming, resources and services.

What You Will Be Doing

The Coordinator, Education & Development is responsible for the administration, operations, and logistics for coach education and other programming.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Provide administrative and operational support for U.S. Soccer courses, specifically Grassroots & D Licenses.
  • Build and reconcile budgets for courses.
  • Provide costumer support for course registration, logistics, payments, and refunds.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to execute courses.
  • Assist the Vice President and Director of Coaching Education with strategic planning and yearly goals.
  • Assist the Director of Coaching Education with League relations.
  • Assist in the creation, administration, and implementation of new and existing programming.
  • Ensure compliance with US Club Soccer policies and safeguarding initiatives.

Other tasks as needed.

Limited Travel and evening/weekend work will be required.

The Skills And Experience You Need

This position requires an individual who is proactive, motivated, of high integrity, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment while representing US Club Soccer in a professional manner. Additional qualifications are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent previous work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous work experience.
  • Highly refined abilities in time management, prioritization, and administration.
  • Proficiency with applicable software programs, such as Microsoft Office and ZenDesk.
  • Strong diligence, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear and efficient communication skills, including competence in providing service virtually and with screensharing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently and produce high-quality output efficiently.
  • Flexibility, ability to quickly assimilate new information, quickly adapt, and learn new skills.
