The ASPCA is seeking a Coordinator, Digital Marketing, to help build integrated campaign content across email, SMS and related web forms. You will execute strategies, manage the online platform and coordinate engagement efforts, reporting to the Manager, Digital Outreach & Engagement.
You will work remotely within the United States and participate in annual in-person meetings with travel to NYC as needed, aligning content to fundraising goals and audience engagement.

The team collaborates closely with others in Development, as well as with other departments throughout the ASPCA to effectively align content to support the organization’s mission and achieve fundraising goals.

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing, is responsible for helping build integrated campaign content, including email and SMS and associated website forms. They will execute and implement strategies and tactics developed by the team to help advance department goals and objectives. Working closely with the Manager, Digital Outreach & Engagement, they will assist in managing the online platform, functionality, and member engagement strategy. Additionally, they will participate in discussions across the team related to integrated campaign planning, fundraising and engagement strategy and testing activities. Coordinator, Digital Marketing reports directly to the Manager, Digital Outreach & Engagement and has no direct reports.
This remote-based position (which requires travel, as described below) is open to all eligible candidates based within the United States. This role is expected to work standard East Coast business hours.
The target hiring range is based on where the employee works, which for remote roles is the employee’s primary location of residence, and its respective cost of labor. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary ranges for this role are set forth below and may be modified in the future. The target hiring range for this role is Zone 1: $24.93 - $26.12 / hour Zone 2: $27.48 - $28.79 / hour Zone 3: $30.21 - $31.65 / hour
Responsibility buckets are listed in general order of importance, and include but are not limited to:
Post provided content to the website via CMS, including but not limited to online forms, blog posts, press releases, articles and miscellaneous web page updates. Image cropping and basic photo editing when required. HTML/CSS source code editing when required. Conduct full QA of content posted on the website to ensure accuracy. For online forms, conduct additional QA of submission process to ensure data is captured and mapped to the online CRM. Recommend content or functionality optimizations where possible. Follow internal workflow for ensuring content is reviewed by appropriate stakeholders, requested revisions are made, and content is launched in a timely manner.
Participate in discussions across the team related to integrated campaign planning, fundraising and engagement strategy and testing activities.
Assist in managing the online platform, functionality, and member engagement strategy. Other duties as assigned by manager.
High School Diploma (Required), Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (Required)
2+ years of experience in email and web production. Experience in building emails and SMSs in marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred). Able to write HTML and CSS. Experience in working with a CMS (Drupal preferred). Experienced with basic image cropping/editing in Photoshop or similar software (Required).
