Formed through the merger of AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, Vivmark brings together two industry leaders with a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional living experiences. Our vision is to be the most trusted and best-performing rental housing company in America - one that continues to get better as it grows. And we're looking for people who want to help us do it.

As an owner, developer, and manager of more than 180,000 apartment homes in major markets across the US, we have the scale to offer something most companies can't. The best people want to work here. We hope you're one of them.

The Role

At Vivmark Residential, we create more than apartment homes—we create communities where people thrive. As one of the nation's leading multifamily real estate companies, we're driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional living experiences for our residents.

We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Construction Coordinator II to support our Construction team and help drive successful project execution across a portfolio of multifamily communities.

As a Construction Coordinator II, you'll provide administrative and project support for a variety of capital improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with project managers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to help ensure projects stay organized, compliant, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Supporting multiple projects from planning through completion.
  • Creating and processing subcontractor contracts, purchase orders, change orders, permits, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, presentations, reports, investment packages, budget documentation, and project correspondence.

  • Serving as a liaison among vendors, contractors, insurance providers, accounting teams, and internal business partners.
  • Tracking project budgets, invoices, and other financial information.
  • Assisting project managers with reporting, project administration, and ongoing operational support.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting projects, budgets, contracts, invoicing, or construction-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, renovations, construction, facilities, or property-related initiatives.
  • Familiarity with contracts, change orders, permits, invoicing, and project documentation.
  • Experience coordinating activities among multiple stakeholders and project teams.
