Sporting Kansas City is seeking a Coordinator, Competitions to manage day-to-day operations of youth soccer leagues, tournaments, and competitive programming. You will coordinate registrations, schedules, standings, and game-day logistics with coaches, referees, facilities, and partners.
The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving, plus flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The Coordinator, Competitions is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of Sporting KC Youth Soccer’s recreation and adult leagues. Reporting to the Manager, Competitions, this position works closely with coaches, teams, referees, facilities, league partners, and families to ensure competitions are organized, communicated effectively, and delivered at a high standard. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced sports environment. This position requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage competition logistics, build strong relationships, and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
