Job Summary

The Administrative Program Coordinator provides essential support to the Family Medicine Residency Program. The Administrative Program Coordinator also supports individuals within the Residency Program Managers (staff), Program Director and Associate Directors (faculty), and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for Family Medicine Residency Program Director, Associate Program Director, Associate Director, Program Manager and residents.
  • Coordinate program events such professional development retreats and workshops.
  • Create and manage the Grand Rounds/Journal Club didactic conference schedule.
  • Apply for CME credit for Grand Rounds/Journal Club didactic conferences and faculty skills day for family medicine faculty.
  • Creates and manages weekly didactic schedules such as Wednesday Afternoon Teaching Sessions ( WATS ) and Survival Skills.
  • Orders meals for residency events such as Wednesday Afternoon Teach Sessions ( WATS ), wellness events, orientation, retreats, workshops and skills day.
  • Create and manage the monthly Clinical Quality Meetings.
  • Create, manage, and provide minutes for weekly department meetings such as the Curriculum Committee meeting, Resident Business meeting, Resident Performance meeting and EDI Committee meeting.
  • Compile evaluations through MedHub from teaching didactics for faculty as requested.
  • Uses MedHub to collect procedure numbers and report certifications to clinics.
  • Oversees day‐to‐day operations of the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalency) in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience. (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience.)
