Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Roanoke Rapids, NC, is seeking a Receiving Clerk II to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments for production. You will receive material for production, ensure contents are accurate, and prepare DRP outbound documents, pull slips and carton labels as needed.

This full-time role requires warehouse experience, English literacy, and the ability to read and follow clerical procedures.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Read, write, and speak English required.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems (word processing, spreadsheets, records management, forms).
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Ability to speak, listen, and read to understand.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
• Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
• Maintains office files including load sheets and all office logs.
• Communicates inventory discrepancies to supervisors, peers and subordinates.
• Pulls sample requests for Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development as a back-up for the Receiving Clerk II.

Working Conditions

• Office and Warehouse environment.
• The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25F to 70F.
• Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
• Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
