Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a leader to design, develop, implement and market education programs for healthcare professionals, students and other key audiences in its 31-county service area.

You will coordinate the Pathway to Med School program, assess needs, manage accreditations, and market offerings across brochures, websites and social media, while collaborating with Foothills AHEC staff and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health science field with 3+ years experience.
  • Master's degree in health science field preferred.
  • Experience in teaching, group facilitation and continuing education.

Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships with partners to deliver continuing education to health professionals.
  • Coordinate Pathway to Med School program for pre-med students.
  • Conduct needs assessments for program offerings and ensure grant/contract compliance for CE credits.
  • Submit accreditation applications and maintain records for CE credits.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for educational programming.
  • Market programs via brochures, websites, e-newsletters, social media and conferences.
  • Manage data collection and reporting for continuing education projects.
  • Support Distance Learning and teleconference platforms; collaborate with staff on content updates.

Responsible for the retention efforts of healthcare professionals through identified projects including the development and maintenance of relationships with various community partners.Minimum Job QualificationsLicensure or other certifications:Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in health science related field with a minimum of three (3) years experience.Minimum Experience: Three (3) years relevant work experience with health care professionals, teaching, group facilitation and/or continuing education.Other:Preferred Job QualificationsPreferred Licensure or other certifications:Preferred Educational Requirements: Masters Degree in health science related field.Preferred Experience:Other:Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of health professions continuing education needs.
