Job summary

Jockey International in Kenosha seeks a General Manager to lead Coopers Uptown's integrated retail and cafe operations. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, team culture, and financial performance across both the store and cafe.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high‑performing team, managing payroll, planning marketing initiatives, and ensuring adherence to policies while building community partnerships in Kenosha.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Strong selling experience meeting or exceeding performance standards.
• Ability to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding atmosphere and culture for customers and employees while driving cafe/retail financial performance.
• Oversee daily store operations including hiring, scheduling, budgeting, driving sales performance, selling skills, and adherence to policies/procedures.
• Implement marketing, sales, service, and financial strategy direction provided by corporate partners.
• Oversee hiring, training, and supervising staff with positive leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
• Continually educate and develop sales team on new products and sales.
• Regularly review key performance metrics with staff to drive profitability and service.
• Ensure collaboration between retail and cafe staff.

• Leadingtheplanning,coordinationandexecutionofallspecialevents, workingalongsideretailmanager,cafemanagerandmarketingteamto ensurethateventsaresuccessful.Thisincludesmakingeventspecificgoals andtracking towardsthem.
• Maintaining all standards of store operations including security, inventory control,lossprevention,humanresources,expensecontrol,training,facilityappearance and operational policies and procedures.
• Ensuring all company prescribed standards are met and adhered to by all employees

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• HighSchooldegreeorequivalent.
• Strong selling experience with the proven ability to meet or exceedperformancestandards.
• Flexibilitywiththeabilitytoworkopening/closingshifts,weekends,holidays, andovertime.
• StrongworkingknowledgeofPOSsystems.
