Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Cooperage Utility to join our production team in Tennessee. This entry-level role offers training across multiple production functions in a collaborative environment and a path to grow within a premier bourbon and whiskey company.

The position supports safety, quality, and efficiency goals on the cooperage line, with available 1st or 2nd shift schedules. Applicants should be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Accountable, self-motivated, and able to stay productive in a role that requires moving around.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple production functions within the assigned cooperage area and rotate between workstations as needed.
• Support production operations by safely operating equipment and following established work procedures.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting materials and finished products to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
