Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Cooling Tower Division Assembly/Warehouse/Inventory Control

Description:

Participation in all facets of the Cooling Tower Division:

Essential Duties:

  • Assemble Cooling Tower Kits (approximately 20% of the work week)
  • Field incoming phone calls and emails on product availability, product selection, and application questions. (Verbal and Written Bi-Lingual skills are a plus)
  • Shipping/receiving and stocking merchandise including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Prepare documents, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department any product shortage or overages
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes
  • Operating handheld power tools, forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks and other equipment as required.
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as required, including cleaning restrooms.
  • Assume duties of truck driver when necessary
  • Ensure all administrative and accounting related procedures are strictly observed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and management.
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to safely operate common hand and light power tools
  • Computer skills or some knowledge of computer order entry system
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to routinely lift 25 - 50 lbs. and occasionally lift 51 - 250 lbs. with assistance*, frequent bending.
  • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work overtime, when necessary
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Previous Experience Desired:

  • Customer service or warehouse experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the Company.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Some assembly processes require the use of building materials, fasteners and adhesives. Proper training and PPE (Personal protective equipment) will be provided.

*Use of safety equipment will be required to move heavy equipment and will be provided.

Work Remotely: The majority of the work will be preformed at our facility. There will be occasional off-site assembly projects. All necessary transportation will be provided.
