Job summary

KeHE Distributors is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its Portland, OR location. You will perform cooler/freezer order selecting, receiving, storing, and shipping duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in food distribution or warehouse work, including operating powered equipment. This position offers full-time hours, with differential pay for cooler/freezer and a probation-based growth path.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year in food distribution or warehouse preferred.
• Experience operating powered warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers).
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and management.
• Commitment to safe warehouse practices and teamwork.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stow, pick, pack and ship shipments accurately and safely.
• Operate warehouse equipment and maintain inventory integrity.
• Uphold safety standards and quality during all processes.
• Build pallets to meet customer guidelines and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
